Chives is rich of vitamin A and C. It belongs to the onions'family and it reminds the flavour, but is more delicate. When chopped, its brillant green colour makes your dishes more beautiful to present and better when tasted. It is one of the most classical aromatic plants and goes well with sauces and egg based dishes. Do not cook it too long because it will loose the flavour, so add it at last moment. Flowers can be used in salads.
